Melanie Martinez

This is my "Value Graphed Portrait" of  Melanie Martinez. She is an artist and she is my favorite singer.

Music

This is my portfolio cover. I chose some of my favorite bands that I know the logos  of, and I drew them. For the side of the cover with my name on it, I chose Melanie Martinez's "Crybaby" album cover and recreated it. Instead of the word "Crybaby" on the top in blue letters, I wrote my name.

Mathematical Fantasy

This is my scratch board project of a butterfly surrounded with a lot of  math symbols and colors. That's why I named it "Mathematical Fantasy". I didn't know exactly where I was going with this project, but I thought that with the colors I chose, a  butterfly would be cool.

Riot! Room

This is my one point perspective. Honestly I am not too proud of this piece, but I like the Paramore poster.  I call it "Riot! Room", because "Riot!" is the name of one of one  her album and the poster is the album cover.

The Mad Hatter

This is my "Tempera Batik". My vision for this piece was to mimic Alice in Wonderland's style of the Mad Hatter. It was also supposed to tell a story of how there are two sides to a person. In this case, the nice  side, and the "Mad" side.
